All food is either grown from Sumberkima’s organic garden, or sourced from their nearby farms.

They have two restaurants offering different cuisines. Both menus are clever, creative and absolutely delicious.

Retreat focus

Our focus this year is on the 9 Obstacles of the mind, and how to realise them, identify the role they’ve played in our lives, and learn practical tools to overcome them.

It’s powerful work. 

 
Leanne Davis will be teaching the philosophy in the afternoon, whilst Baxter integrates the lessons in the asana and meditations in the morning sessions.

Once you join the waitlist and pay a deposit, you will receive a complete and comprehensive set of notes on your next steps from flights, transfers, food, programme and extensions should you choose to stay on in Bali. We cover much of that here in this Q+A

Baxter is a great believer of practising ancient principles to meet modern challenges, so we can find balance in a world saturated in information, choice and demands.

She has been a committed and educator of wellbeing for over 20 years.

What many people don’t know, is that prior to Yoga, Baxter worked as a chef on luxury private yachts based in the Mediterranean, which then segued into co-leading international food and wine tours.

Her love of food, yoga, the mind all come together when hosting a retreat such as this, and she is very excited to share her passion with you here.

 

We understand that plans can sometimes take unexpected turns, and flexibility is key. Therefore, we’ve crafted a cancellation policy that we believe strikes a fair balance between understanding the unpredictability of life and the resources required to make this retreat a truly special event. 

Once you’ve made your deposit, we offer a 24-hour cooling-off period during which you can change your mind without any charges.

 

If, after this initial period, you find it necessary to cancel, we kindly ask for your understanding that a 10% charge will be incurred. This helps us cover the administrative and logistical aspects that go into creating an exceptional retreat experience for all participants.

As we draw closer to the retreat start date, our policy then reflects that of our host:

  • We strongly advise taking out travel insurance, one which covers pandemics.
  • We recommend using Finder as a search engine for covid Insurance plans in Bali
  • Should something happen to Baxter and she is unable to lead the classes, we reserve the right to bring in another teacher from our team to run the programme designed by Baxter.
